Current sophomores are invited to attend an informational meeting on Thursday, October 13 at 8:30 am in room 201 about Massanutten Regional Governor's School. Susan Fream, the MRGS Program Director, will be giving a short presentation about the program, answering questions, and advising students on how to apply to the program.
MRGS is a 2-year program that students apply to their sophomore year and attend their junior and senior years. Students learn in a unique environment that challenges and teaches them to be researchers. Students take their English, math, and science classes at MRGS, with a program focus on environmental science and take their history and other elective classes at their home school. Each year students also complete an independent research project of their choice.
Students interested in learning more about the program should attend the meeting or contact Ms. Belton for more information.
